Live TV, sport & motorsport
The film and series library is free on every account. Live television is separate: channels come in packs that you add on top of your plan, and the plan decides how many devices can watch at once. This page explains the plans, the packs, and why none of it is a subscription.
How it fits together
There are two separate things. Your plan sets how many devices can play something at the same time — the free Start plan gives you one, and every plan includes the whole library. Channel packs are the live television: you add only the packs you actually watch, on any plan, including Start. You never need either to keep using the library.
Two packs are the exception: Motorsport and All-Access are available to supporters — that is, anyone on a paid plan — or, for Motorsport, through a one-off weekend pass.

Channel packs — what you can watch
Packs combine freely. Add the ones you watch, or take All-Access and have everything except the two premium sport packs.

Add-ons and passes
- Extra device — €1 a month, one more device on top of any plan.
- Weekend pass — €1, Motorsport for a single race weekend with no ongoing support. It exists so that occasional viewers are never pushed into a monthly commitment.
- Yearly payment — pay 10 months up front and the year is covered, about 17% less.
This is voluntary support for a small private server, not a commercial service. There is no contract, no guaranteed availability, and nothing is taken automatically — you send money when you choose to and stop whenever you like. Nobody is chased for payment, and a Start account is a perfectly normal way to use the library.
Watching Live TV
- Open
jellyfin.karafa.netand sign in as usual. - In the main menu, choose Live TV.
- You get a channel list and a programme guide showing what is on now and next. Only the channels from packs on your account appear.
- Click a channel to start watching. It behaves like ordinary television — no downloading, no waiting.
Several people watching different channels at the same time works smoothly; each channel counts as one device against your plan, the same as a film would.
Devices at once — the one real limit
Being signed in on five devices costs nothing; playing video on two of them at the same moment counts as two. On the Start plan that is one, so if a film is already running in the living room, a second device will not start playing until it finishes. The one already playing is never interrupted, and nobody is signed out. The limit exists because every playing stream costs real bandwidth and processing power on one machine.
The limit belongs to the account, so it is shared by everyone you share your login with. If that becomes annoying, either ask us for a separate account or move up a plan.
How to support, if you want to
- Open the support page — bank transfer, Revolut, PayPal and Bitcoin are all listed there.
- In the payment note, put your Jellyfin username and what you want — for example Family + Motorsport. Without the packs we have to contact you first, and activation takes longer.
- Send the amount for the plan and packs you chose.
- If anything is unclear or does not get applied, open a ticket at the help desk.
Common questions
Do I lose the library if I never support?
No, never. Films, series and requests are free on every account, permanently. Support only decides how many devices can play at once and which live channels you have.
Do I need a paid plan to get any live TV?
No. Basic TV, Sport, Documentaries and the premium sport packs can be added to the free Start plan. Only Motorsport and All-Access need a paid plan — and Motorsport can still be tried with the €1 weekend pass.
What happens if I stop supporting?
Your account goes back to the Start plan and the channel packs stop. Nothing is deleted, nothing is locked, and you are not asked about it.
Why will nothing start playing for me?
Somebody else using the same account is already watching. On the Start plan that is one device shared by everyone on the account. Their playback is not interrupted and you are not signed out — yours simply will not start until they finish. Either wait, or add a device on the support page.
I only want to watch one Grand Prix.
That is exactly what the weekend pass is for: €1, Motorsport for that one race weekend, and nothing ongoing.
