Achievements & stats
There are 25 badges to unlock, awarded for what you actually watch — and a separate dashboard showing your hours, your genres and what you have finished. Both are pure fun; neither affects your account in any way.
Your badges
- Open the achievements page.
- Sign in with your ordinary Jellyfin username and password — the same ones you use to watch. There is no separate account.
- The page reads your watch history and works out which badges you have already earned. Most people unlock several immediately.
What you can earn

| Genres | Rewards for range — 15 horror titles, 25 comedies, 25 action, 15 sci-fi, 15 animated, 5 documentaries, 10 romances, 15 crime or thrillers. |
| Special | The odd ones — 10 titles in 4K, 25 highly-rated films, something released this year, a film over three hours, something made before 1980, and 100 total hours watched. |
| Dedication | For coming back — visiting on five different days, checking in three days running, and two awarded for looking at the page very late at night or very early in the morning. |
There is no leaderboard and nothing is shared with other users. Your badges and your viewing history are visible to you alone.
Your statistics
The achievements page shows six headline numbers at the top: total items watched, films, episodes, series finished, favourites, and total hours. For much more detail — what you watched when, which genres dominate, which devices you use — there is a separate dashboard called StreamyStats.
StreamyStats is about you — your viewing habits. The
telemetry pages under /stats are about the server —
disk space, download queues, uptime. Both are interesting, but only the first one is
personal.
Common questions
I watched something but the badge did not appear
A title only counts once it is marked as watched, which happens when you reach the end — stopping halfway does not count. Results are also cached for a few minutes, so reload the page after a short wait.
A genre badge is not progressing
Badges are counted from the genre tags in the file's metadata, which are occasionally missing or wrong on a particular title. If a genre seems badly stuck, mention it and we can look at the metadata.
What data does this store about me?
Only what is needed to award badges: counts derived from your Jellyfin watch history, plus how many times and on which days you have opened the page (that is what the Dedication badges are based on). It stays on the server and is not shared with anyone.
Can I ignore this entirely?
Yes. It is a toy. Never opening the page changes nothing about your access or your viewing.
