Log in at jellyfin.karafa.net, not at Wizarr

wizarr.karafa.net is used exactly once, to redeem your invitation and create the account. It is not a login page. Everything on this page — and all your watching — happens at jellyfin.karafa.net.

Finding your settings

  1. Sign in at jellyfin.karafa.net.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right corner.
  3. Choose Settings — or Profile for the password section specifically.

In the phone apps the same options live behind the menu or gear icon, and settings you change in one place apply to your account everywhere.

Changing your password

  1. Go to Profile from the menu above.
  2. Find the Password section.
  3. Enter your current password, then the new one twice.
  4. Save. You stay signed in on this device; other devices may ask you to sign in again.
What makes a good password here

Length beats complexity. Three or four unrelated words — something like copper-window-salmon — is far stronger than Pa$$w0rd1 and much easier to type on a TV remote. Above all, do not reuse a password you use anywhere important: this is a small private server, not a bank.

Forgotten it?

There is no automatic reset link. Open a ticket at the help desk and we will reset it manually, usually the same day.

Subtitles and audio, set once

This is the setting most people never find, and the one that saves the most fiddling. Instead of turning subtitles on for every single film, tell the server your preference once.

  1. Open Settings, then Playback (in some versions, Languages).
  2. Set Preferred audio language — for example Slovak, Czech or English.
  3. Set Preferred subtitle language.
  4. Choose a subtitle mode. Always play shows them whenever they exist; Only forced shows them just for foreign-language passages; Default follows the file.

From then on, subtitles appear in your language automatically wherever the title has them — on your phone, your TV and in the browser alike.

Devices and Quick Connect

Signing out a device you no longer have

If you lose a phone, or sign in at a friend's house and forget to sign out, you do not need physical access to fix it. Ask us to end that session — we can sign out any individual device on your account without disturbing your others. Change your password at the same time and the old device is locked out for good.

Quick Connect — logging in without typing

Entering a password with a TV remote is genuinely unpleasant. Quick Connect avoids it entirely:

  1. On the TV or console, choose Quick Connect on the sign-in screen.
  2. It shows a short code.
  3. On your phone or laptop, where you are already signed in, open Settings → Quick Connect and type that code.
  4. Approve it. The TV signs itself in — no password typed anywhere.
Only approve codes you generated

A Quick Connect code grants full access to your account. Only ever type in a code you are looking at on your own screen — never one somebody sends you or reads out to you.

What the server knows about you

You are entitled to a straight answer about this, so here it is.

RecordedWhy
What you watched and how far you gotSo "Continue watching" works across your devices, and to award badges.
Which devices and apps you sign in fromTo enforce the stream limit and to let a lost device be signed out.
What you requestedSo requests can be tracked and duplicates avoided.
Server logs including IP addressesStandard for any web server — needed to diagnose faults and block abuse.

As the administrators we can technically see all of this, exactly as with any self-hosted service. None of it is sold, shared or used for advertising, there is no third-party tracking inside the library, and no other user can see your activity. If you want your account and history deleted, ask and it will be done.
